Steady to easy trend was witnessed on the jaggery market today as gur prices in Delhi ruled steady in scattered deals while gur in Muzzfarngar prices eased on sluggish demand against sufficient supplies.
Marketmen said sluggish demand against sufficient supplies from producing belts mainly kept pressure on gur at Muzzfarnagar.
At Muzzafarnagar, gur chakku eased to Rs 2,450-2,850 against last close of Rs 2,500-2,850 per quintal. Laddo also weakened to Rs 2,625-2,700 from previous level of Rs 2,700-2,750 per quintal.
