Gur ends steady in Delhi, gur Chakku falls in Muzaffarnagar

Gur prices settled steady at the wholesale market in the national capital today following sporadic demand amid restricted supplies.

On the other hand, gur Chakku prices in Muzaffarnagar slid by Rs 50 per quintal on muted demand.

Marketmen said sluggish demand due to off-season amid fresh supplies from manufacturing belts, largely pulled down gur chakku prices in Muzaffarnagar.

In Muzaffarnagar, gur Chakku prices declined by Rs 50 to end the day at Rs 3,150-3,250 per quintal.

Following are today's rates (in Rs per quintal):

Gur chakku Rs 3,500-3,600, pedi Rs 3,800-3,900, dhayya Rs 3,900-4,000 and shakkar Rs 4,100-4,200.

Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,625-2,675, chakku Rs 3,150-3,250,khurpa Rs N.Q. And Ladoo Rs 3,250-3,300.
 

Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 3,400-3,450 and dhayya Rs 3,450-3,500.
