Gur ends steady in Delhi, Muzaffarnagar; Pedi up in Muradnagar

Gur prices ended steady at the wholesale market in the national capital today following sporadic demand amid small buying support.

Muzaffarnagar gur markets also settled at previous levels, while gur pedi remained in keen demand and rose by Rs 50 per quintal.

Marketmen said restricted arrivals from manufacturing areas mainly pushed up gur pedi prices at Muradnagar.

In Muradnagar, gur pedi advanced by Rs 50 to settle at Rs 2,200-2,250 per quintal.

Following are today's rates (in Rs per quintal):

Gur chakku 2,400-2,500, pedi 2,450-2,500, dhayya 2,600-2,700 and shakkar 2,700-2,800.

Muzaffarnagar: Rasket 2,000-2,100, chakku 2,150-2,300, khurpa 2,050-2,100 and Ladoo 2,250-2,300.
 

Muradnagar: Pedi 2,200-2,250 and dhayya 2,250-2,300.
