Gur prices rose by Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale gur (jaggery) market in the national capital today on mild demand.

On the other hand, gur prices in Muzzafarnagar and Muradnagar remained flat on lack of worthwhile buying activity from stockists.

Traders said some local demand against restricted arrivals from producing regions, mainly led to the rise in gur prices at Delhi.
