The wholesale gur (Jaggery) market settled quiet in the national capital today following sporadic buying support against restricted arrivals.

Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also closed without any changes in the absence of necessary buying support.

Marketmen said sufficient availability of stocks coupled with scattered buying mainly kept gur prices unaltered.

Following are today's rates (in Rs per quintal):

Gur chakku Rs 3,200-3,300, pedi Rs 3,200-3,300, dhayya Rs 3,400-3,500 and shakkar Rs 3,500-3,600.

Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,550-2,600, chakku Rs 2,750-2,950, khurpa Rs 2,650-2,750 and Ladoo Rs 2,900-2,950.

Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 2,900-2,950 and dhayya Rs 2,950-3,000.
