The wholesale Jaggery market held steady in the national capital today following sporadic demand against less arrivals.

Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also finished without any huge changes in the absence of any worthwhile moving factors.

Marketmen said arrivals and off-take almost remained at a low ebb, which also reduced the volume of business and kept the prices unaltered.

The following are today's quotations per quintal:

Gur chakku 2,700-2,800, pedi 2,700-2,800, dhayya 2,900-3,000 and shakkar 3,000-3,100.

Muzaffarnagar: Rasket 2,300-2,350, chakku 2,400-2,600, khurpa 2,450-2,500 and Ladoo 2,450-2,550.

Muradnagar: Pedi 2,300-2,375 and dhayya 2,400-2,450.
