Gur prices tumbled Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale market in the national capital today following rising inventories on persistent arrivals from manufacturing belts amid slackened demand.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets prices also declined by Rs 75 per quintal on supply pressure.
Marketmen attributed falling gur prices to increased arrivals from manufacturing areas along with selective buying by stockists and bulk consumers.
