Barring a fall of Rs 200 per quintal in gur pedi prices on heavy arrivals, other gur varieties ruled steady at the wholesale gur (Jaggery) market in the national capital today on small buying support.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also depicted a weak trend and prices fell sharply by up to Rs 350 per quintal on heavy supplies of new stocks.
Marketmen said mounting stocks in the markets on increased supplies of new gur in the markets against limited buying support mainly pulled down gur prices in Delhi, Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar.
