The wholesale gur (Jaggery) market ended on a steady note in the national capital today following scattered buying support.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also settled around overnight levels in the absence of any worthwhile activities.
Marketmen said besides muted demand, negligible arrivals from manufacturing belts, mainly kept prices unaltered.
Following are today's rates (in Rs per quintal):
Gur chakku Rs 2,700-2,800, pedi Rs 2,700-2,800, dhayya Rs 2,900-3,000 and shakkar Rs 2,900-3,000.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,350-2,400, chakku Rs 2,450-2,575, khurpa Rs 2,350-2,400 and Ladoo Rs 2,450-2,550.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 2,350-2,400 and dhayya Rs 2,450-2,500.
