The wholesale gur (Jaggery) market remained steady in the national capital today as prices continued to move in a narrow range in limited deals and settled around previous levels.

On the other hand, gur chakku in Muzzafarnagar, eased on reduced offtake.

Traders said absence of worthwhile activity from local parties mainly kept prices unaltered at Delhi.

They said, however, reduced offtake by consuming industries led to decline in gur chakku in Muzzafarnagar.
