The wholesale gur (jaggery) market ended quiet in the national capital today with prices after moving either side in directionless trade, settled at the last levels.
On the other hand, at Muzaffarnagar, gur chakku prices weakened by Rs 100 per quintal on fresh supplies amid limited offtake.
Marketmen said increased arrivals from manufacturing belts coupled with slackened buying by stockists and retailers brought down the gur chakku prices in Muzaffarnagar.

In Muzaffarnagar, gur Chakku prices declined by Rs 100 to end the day at Rs 3,100-3,250 per quintal.
The volume of business was also at low ebb.
Following are today's rates (in Rs per quintal):
Gur chakku Rs 3,600-3,700, pedi Rs 3,800-3,900, dhayya Rs 3,900-4,000 and shakkar Rs 4,000-4,100.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,650-2,700, chakku Rs 3,100-3,250,khurpa Rs N.Q. And Ladoo Rs 3,250-3,300.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 3,400-3,450 and dhayya Rs 3,450-3,500.
