There was no change in the pattern of trading in the wholesale gur (Jaggery) market in the national capital as prices continued to be asked at previous closing levels in the absence of any worthwhile activity.

On the other hand, at Muradngar market, gur khurpa and laddoo prices moved down on slackness in demand amid increased arrivals.

Marketmen said steady inflow of supplies from manufacturing areas amid slackened buying by stockists and retailers largely pulled down gur khurpa and laddoo prices in Muzaffarnagar.

At Muzaffarnagar, gur khurpa price fell by Rs 100 to settle at Rs 2,100-2,150 per quintal.

Meanwhile, laddoo prices were lower by Rs 50 to Rs 2,250-2,350 per quintal.

Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,100-2,200, Rs chakku 2,200-2,450, khurpa Rs 2,100-2,150 and Ladoo Rs 2,250-2,350.
