Gur remains steady on scattered support

The wholesale gur (Jaggery) market ruled flat in the national capital today on sporadic buying support amidst sufficient stocks position.

Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also settled at previous levels in the absence of substantial activity.

Marketmen said negligible arrivals along with small demand, mainly kept gur prices at last levels.

Following are today's rates per quintal:

Gur chakku 3,200-3,300, pedi 3,200-3,300, dhayya 3,400-3,500 and shakkar 3,500-3,600.

Muzaffarnagar: Rasket 2,700-2,750, chakku 2,750-3,100, khurpa 2,650-2,750 and Ladoo 2,900-3,000.

Muradnagar: Pedi 2,850-2,900 and dhayya 2,900-3,000.
