Guv calls for biometric attendance for varsity staff in Raj

Rajasthan Governor Kalyan Singh today directed Vice Chancellors of the state-run universities to make arrangements for biometric attendance of their staff, from the next academic session.

To ensure the presence of staff in government universities, Rajasthan Governor Kalyan Singh has asked the Vice Chancellors to arrange biometric attendance for teaching and non-teaching staff from the next academic session, an official release said.

Singh stated that the teaching staff in colleges should stay for at least five hours a day.

He also asked the VCs to ensure compliance of UGC guidelines for teaching and research works, the release added.
