Guv Rosaiah pays tributes to AP freedom fighter Tanguturi

Tamil Nadu Governor K Rosaiah today paid homage to Andhra Pradesh freedom fighter Tanguturi Prakasam Pantulu on the occasion of his 144th birth anniversary tommorrow.

"On the occasion of 144th Jayanthi Day of Andhra Kesari - Tanguturi Prakasam Pantulu, I pay my respectful homage to the Lion of Andhra," Rosaiah said in a Raj Bhavan statement.

Pantulu was a 'revolutionary leader' who led the nation's freedom movement and dedicated himself to promotion of education and upliftment of underprivileged, he said.

"On his Jayanthi Day, let us resolve to promote patriotic fervor, peace and live up to the ideals of Andhra Kesari to build a harmonious and prosperous India," he added.
