As part of the bi-annual darbar move, Governor's Secretariat today reopened for functioning at Raj Bhavan in the winter capital Jammu, a spokesperson said.

The Secretariat had closed in Srinagar on October 25.

Governor N N Vohra issued instructions to all officers and staff members to ensure cleanliness, proper record keeping, prompt disposal of all references, and satisfactory maintenance of the Raj Bhavan estate, the spokesperson said.

Vohra inspected all wings of the Raj Bhavan Complex, including the CRPF and J&K Police Camps and the gardens.

He also inspected the Solar Power Plant installed at the Raj Bhavan and took stock of its functioning.

Principal Secretary to the Governor, Navin K Choudhary and other officials accompanied Vohra during the inspection, the spokesman added.
