Freight rates for the nine-tonne pay load section for select destinations rose by Rs 1,000 in the local truck transport market today following tight position of trucks.
Transporters said tight availability of trucks mainly pushed up freight rates for select destinations.
Delhi to Guwahati and Puducherry freight rates moved up by Rs 1,000 each to Rs 51,000 and Rs 68,000.
