"Iron Man" star Gwyneth Paltrow, who has already produced two cookbooks, believes her love of food and cooking originates from her father Bruce Paltrow.

The 40-year-old actress believes she is obsessed with food because of her upbringing by a foodie father, reported Contactmusic.

"I have always loved food, I was raised by a foodie. I love to cook and eat. My father was obsessed with good food and he passed it on to me," Gwyneth said.

Her father, Bruce passed away in October 2002 due to cancer.

According to her, exercise is important so that she can maintain her figure while eating what she enjoys.

"Find what works for you. I think it's important to move a little everyday. If you don't have time for a full workout, do what you can - walk to work, take the stairs. Above all, don't beat yourself up. We're all trying to do so much. Ease up on yourself and do what's in front of you to the best of your ability," she added.
