Actress Gwyneth Paltrow has reportedly shunned using shampoo in order to restore her hair health.
The 41-year-old actress is worried with the high chemical content in them, reported Daily Express.
"Gwyneth is worried about using shampoos that contain sodium lauryl sulphate, which has been shown to cause skin irritation - there are also concerns that it could be linked to organ toxicity and even cancers," a source said.
The 'Iron Man' star apparently also takes vitamin C supplements in her diet, which helps in production of a scalp oil, sebum, that works as a natural hair conditioner and prevents her locks from becoming dry, weak and lifeless.
