Former bureaucrat H Pradeep Rao was today appointed Member, Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI).
Rao, a retired officer of Indian Audit and Accounts Service, has been appointed to the post with consolidated pay package of Rs 3.75 lakh per month for a period of three years, an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) said.
In another order, former diplomat J S Mukul has been appointed as Dean of the Foreign Service Institute (FSI).
Mukul, a 1981 batch (retired) officer of Indian Foreign Service, has been appointed to the post for an initial period of three years, it said.
