Makkal Needhi Maiam President and actor Kamal Haasan today met DMK leader MK Stalin and invited him for a meeting on the Cauvery dispute on May 19.
MNM sources said Haasan met Stalin at the DMK headquarters here and invited his party to attend the meeting.
MNM was organising a meeting of various parties and farmers ' bodies on May 19 here to discuss the Cauvery issue, sources added.
Earlier, the Centre had submitted its draft Cauvery management scheme before a bench of the Supreme Court in Delhi.
