Over 8,900 Haj pilgrims from West Bengal will start leaving for their journey from August 10.
This year, flights for Haj pilgrims of the state will commence from August 10 and will continue till August 21, officials of the Minority Affairs and Madrasah Education Department said.
The total number of Haj pilgrims this year is 8,903, they said, adding that Saudi Airlines has been given the responsibility to operate flights from Kolkata by the Haj Committee of India.
