One live hand grenade was found in a paddy field near a crematorium at Napet Panung Loukol in Manipur's Imphal East district this morning.
The hand grenade was spotted by a farmer while ploughing the field this morning. He had reported to the police and Border Security Force (BSF) personnel posted there, the police said.
The hand grenade was later defused by a bomb disposal squad of Manipur police and BSF, the police added.
