Kerala High Court today observed that if any evidence relating to solar panel scam case was available with Kerala government Chief Whip P C George, the proper course of action would be to hand it over to the investigating officers.

The oral observation in this regard was made by Justice Harun Ul Rashid while referring to a letter written by George to Congress President Sonia Gandhi in this regard.

The court was hearing a petition by Joy Kaitharath seeking to retrieve CCTV visuals of Chief Minister, Oommen chandy's office, when the observation was made.

"If it is given to Sonia Gandhi, it is going in a different line", the court said and asked 'What was the aim of the petitioner and who is his target?'. 'Is CM his target?', the judge asked.

The case has been posted to October 9 for hearing, Advocate General K P Dandapani said.

The scam had brought the office of Chief Minister under a cloud and had rocked the state assembly for several days with the opposition CPI(M) led LDF demanding his resignation and a judicial probe into the matter.
