"I am ready to face the SAC. If I am found guilty, let SAC hang me publicly. I am ready to face any punishment," Sharma, who is minister of state for Cooperatives, told reporters in Jammu.
Claiming that he was innocent, he said he was willing to present himself before the SAC to prove he had no role to play in the scam.
"I have no hesitation in presenting myself before the SAC. I have high regard for the Commission and its members," the minister said, adding he had not recieved any notice from the anti-graft body so far.
To a question on whether allegations of embezzlement in the Corporation are true, Sharma said he had received some complaints in this connection and a probe had been ordered.
"I got an interim report on the issue and accordingly the Joint Registrar was suspended and the Board of the Corporation superseded as a follow-up action," he said.
On allegations of 387 illegal appointments made in his department, the minister denied any knowledge of it.
