Happy, more candidates from J-K joining Central Services: Vora

Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra has expressed happiness over the progressive increase in the number of boys and girls from the state who are joining the Central Services.

"I am happy over the progressive increase, every passing year, in the number of boys and girls from the state who are joining the All India and Central Services," Vohra said.

Interacting with the students who have registered themselves, for undergoing coaching for taking the Civil Services Examination, at the Centre for Career Planning and Counselling at the Kashmir University here yesterday, the governor said he has great expectations from the youth of the state.
 

He said the youth of the state have very high potential if provided the appropriate opportunities and called upon them to work hard so that a sizable number of them could get selected for the All India Civil Services and other superior openings at the national level.

The systematic hard work and a clear and positive approach and suitable guidance would contribute towards success in the Civil Services Examination, he said.

Referring to the need for setting up a residential coaching centre at the Kashmir University, the Governor said the Vice Chancellor had already taken up this matter and he shall discuss this with the Union Human Resource Development Minister during his forthcoming visit to the State.
