'Happy New Year' gets Egyptian release

Shah Rukh Khan-Deepika Padukone starrer 'Happy New Year' is all set to release in Egypt tomorrow.

In the initial run, the movie, which will carry English and Arabic subtitles, will run in 10 theaters in Cairo, Alexandria and Obour City including all major theatres and multiplexes.

"We are very thankful that HNY has been received very well across International markets. After 'Chennai Express', this is the second RCE film to release in Egypt. Indian actors and films have enjoyed a lot of goodwill in Egypt and we hope the audiences in Egypt will enjoy HNY as much as all audiences around the world have," Venky Mysore, CEO, Red Chillies Entertainments (RCE) said in a statement.
 

The makers of 'Happy New Year' have also made the Farah Khan-directed film available on its website for fans outside India.

'Happy New Year' was released in India on October 24.
