Har forms committee to promote digital payments

The Haryana government today said it has constituted an eight-member committee under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary to promote digital payments in the state.

The committee will oversee implementation and resolve policy issues related to promotion of digital payments in the state, an official spokesman said here.

He said the committee will include as members the Financial Commissioner and Additional Chief Secretaries of the Revenue, Disaster Management, Transport, Printing and Stationery and Excise and Taxation departments.

Principal Secretary of the Finance and Information and Technology departments will also be part of the committee, the spokesman said.
