Har govt to frame policy on artificial limbs

A policy to fix the rates of artificial limbs used for the treatment of the state government employees, pensioners and their dependents for reimbursement will be soon made by the Haryana government.

Under the policy, reimbursement cost ranging from Rs 10,000 to Rs 4 lakh for different type of artificial limbs would be granted to them, a Health department spokesperson said.

The reimbursement would be allowed once every five years, on getting prescription from an orthopedic of the government hospital, he added.
