The Haryana government has decided to shift all dairies at residential areas of the cities in the state to the outskirts.
To begin with, dairies in 10 cities will be shifted (to the outskirts), an official release quoting state Local Bodies Minister Kavita Jain said here today.
People are complaining about the problems being created by these dairies, especially blockage of sewerage systems in residential areas, the minister said after presiding over a review meeting of the department.
The 10 cities from where the dairies will be moved to the outskirts in the first phase are Rohtak, Gurgaon, Sonepat, Panipat, Bahadurgarh, Rewari, Yamunanagar-Jagadhari, Ambala City-Ambala Sadar, Karnal and Hisar, the release said.
