A show cause notice has also been served upon the management of C-DAC which had developed the software, for the act of negligence, an official spokesman said here.
A committee has been constituted to screen the software or e-content course material in future, the spokesman said.
Parveen Sangwan, Assistant Director, Information Technology, Haryana Secondary School Education, was suspended by the Government for accepting the erroneous content in the software namely EDU-BOSS in which Jammu and Kashmir was missing from the geographical map of India.
