The Haryana government has decided to extend the benefit of the SeventhPay Commission to non-teaching staff of privately managed government-aided colleges.

Finance Minister Abhimanyu said Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has approved a proposal to give the employees revised pay as per the recommendations of the SeventhPay Commission, with effect from January 1, 2016.

This would benefit 1,184 employees of privately managed government-aided colleges in the state and cause an additional financial burden of Rs 45 crore on the state ex-chequer, he said.
