Har police gets digital investigation centre to fight cyber

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar today inaugurated the Digital Investigation, Training and Analysis Centre (DIATC) to boost the state police's capabilities to solve cyber crime cases.

The first of its kind centre has been set up in collaboration with the National Technical Research Organisation (NTRO) of Government of India, Director General of Police K P Singh said at the centre's inaugural function at Gurugram.

The centre has a state-of-the-art cyber forensic laboratory and a high-tech facility in its premises to train officers from the state and other police forces, he said.

Apart from this, the Centre has a social media monitoring lab for enhancing technological capabilities of the Haryana police, the DGP said.
