Hardcore Maoist held: police

A hardcore Maoist was arrested today from a village in Bihar's Aurangabad district, police said.

Acting on a tip off, the police raided a house in Madhu Bigha village and nabbed the ultra, identified as Nagdeo Ram, Director General of Police (DGP) Abhayanand said.

He was wanted in several cases of Naxal-related violence in the district, he said.
