A hardcore Maoist ultra was arrested today in Banka district of Bihar in a joint operation of state police and CRPF.
The arrest of Kanhaiya Yadav was made at Ramsaraia Hill under Belhar police station.
Belhar Deputy Superintendent of Police Piyush Khan said, "Yadav is a hardcore naxal and a close associate of naxal leader Mantu Khaira who is active in these parts of the state."
The security forces have brought Yadav to Belhar police station, where he is being interrogated, he said.
