A hard-core woman activist of ultra outfit 'People's Liberation Front of India' (PLFI) was arrested and Rs 2 lakh recovered from her possession at Maoist-hit Bandgaon police station in West Singhbhum district,
Sub-Divisional Police Officer (Chakradharpur), Alok Priyadarshi said the amount was collected as levy from a contraction from Meromguttu village.
The woman was Identified as Aasiyan Kandir alias Sungandhi alias Itwari Bodra, a resident of Kankusi village under Murhu police station of Khunti district while on way to hand over the levy money to her 'Area Commander' Ashisan Soy, the SDPO said.

The security personnel launched a search operation and apprehended her from the village, he said.
Bodra had been to jail on charges of human trafficking in Murhu in 2009, joined the ultra outfit when she was 13-year-old.
She had been an active member of the squad for last seven years.
