India's Grandmaster Pentala Harikrishna settled for a draw against Chinese Grandmaster Liren Ding in the fourth round of the Shenzhen Longgang Grand Masters tournament here today.

World No. 12 Harikrishna, playing black, and seeking his second victory in the tournament, had to go on the defensive against the solid play of the World No. 14 Chinese.

"I am happy with the draw," Harikrishna said after the game.

"I had to fight to find Bg4 in the opening. After that an equal endgame was inevitable," he added.

The draw put the Indian star on the fourth position on the table.

The USD 90,000 tournament will see Harikrishna take on another Chinese Grandmaster, Yangyi Yu, tomorrow. Yu has drawn all his four games so far.
