One Direction star Harry Styles found giving a speech at his mothers' wedding 'nerve-racking' and practised it for days before the ceremony.
The 19-year-old singer stood by his mother Anne Cox's side as she wed long-term partner Robin Twist in June and while he is used to performing for millions of fans across the world, Styles got stage fright when it came to speaking at the intimate ceremony, reported Daily Mirror.
"I did give a speech and I can honestly say it was the most nerve-racking thing I've ever done. I practised on my own for days beforehand, on the sofa reciting it to myself. I tried to make it have a bit of everything," Styles said.
"When everyone thought it was going to be really emotional, I pulled the rug from under everyone's feet and injected a bit of humour. It seemed to go well," he added.
