Press Trust of India Chandigarh
Haryana School Education Department today directed all private recognised schools in the state to display information on availability of seats for admissions on their website as well as on the school notice board by December 31.

All schools have been also asked send a list of the reserved seats to District Education Officer concerned, a spokesman of the department said here.

"It would be applicable to schools that have been allotted land by Haryana Urban Development Authority or any other authority which makes it mandatory for them to admit a certain percentage of children in concessional mode," he said.

He said this decision had been taken with regard to implementation of a Rule of Haryana School Education Rules, 2003 as per which all private recognised schools are required to reserve 10 per cent seats for classes 1st to 12th for students belonging to economically weaker sections and below poverty line.
