The Haryana Assembly's monsoon session, which was to commence here tomorrow, has been postponed indefinitely in the wake of demise of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee this evening.
"The session has been postponed indefinitely...," Haryana Assembly Speaker Kanwar Pal told PTI.
He said that fresh dates will be worked out by the government later on.
As per tentative schedule, the Haryana Assembly's monsoon session was to commence on August 17 and last till August 21.
Vajpayee, 93, died at AIIMS in Delhi following prolonged illness.
