Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar's chopper developed a "technical snag" before it was to take off from Panipat to Chandigarh, officials said today.
He later travelled by road to reach the destination, they said.
Khattar arrived in Panipat yesterday and inaugurated several projects there today.
"While he was to board the chopper from Panipat, it developed technical snag and therefore could not take off. The chief minister travelled by road later on," Panipat's Superintendent of Police, Rajesh Duggal said.
