The farmers of these states have been earning more profit as compared to those of Haryana which is close to Delhi, and its farmers should not lag behind, Dhankar said.
On urea, he said that there was no shortage of the nutrient and the state had sufficient quantity of it.
The farmers should not purchase urea in December which is required in January as it causes panic, he said.
They should not stock up urea which would be supplied in adequate quantity to meet their needs.
"Three lakh bags of urea arrive in the state every day. There is enough urea in the state to ensure that every acre gets three bags against the requirement of two-and-a-half bags," he said.
He directed the officers to take action against those dealers who give medicines along with manure.
The two-day Vegetable Fair was visited by about 8,000 farmers who gathered important information related to horticulture.
The minister honoured 55 farmers at the fair.
