The Haryana Government here today announced to grant education allowance to children of the deceased state government employees.
The government has decided to give education allowance up to Rs 6,000 per annum each for two children from nursery to 10+2 level of the deceased Haryana Government employees, who died while in service, said an official spokesman.
The tuition fee would be reimbursed for the students who study in government, private as well as government aided school and colleges after the employee dies in the middle of the office term.
However, the reimbursement of such fee would be equivalent to the fee charged by the government colleges or institutions or less, he added.
