Haryana govt announces 7 pc hike in DA for its employees

The Haryana government today announced to raise Dearness Allowance by seven per cent for its employees.

A notification to this effect has been issued by the Finance Department here today.

"The Haryana government has decided that the rate of Dearness Allowance admissible to employees of Haryana government, who continue to draw their pay in the pre-revised pay band/grade as per the 6th Pay Commission, has been enhanced from the existing rate of 125 per cent to 132 per cent of the pay with effect from July 1, 2016," an official spokesman said.

The additional instalment of DA will be paid in cash to all government employees with the salary for the month of March to be paid in April.
 

The payment of arrears of enhanced Dearness Allowance for the months from July, 2016 to February, 2017 will be made in the month of April.

In another notification, the government has revised the Dearness Relief to the pensioners/family pensioners of the government on the revised pension/family pension with effect from July 1, 2016.

The rate of Dearness Relief on revised pension/family pension will be two per cent, the spokesman said.
