Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today ordered a special 'girdawari' (revenue assessment) to assess the damage caused to crops due to the recent rains in the state.
The deputy commissioners in the state have been directed to conduct special girdawari in case the normal revenue assessment has been completed, an official spokesman said.
The deputy commissioners, who are currently working on the normal girdawaris, have also been asked to ensure that such damages are reported.
