An "innovative idea" on how to raise the state's revenue can give you a chance to win Rs one lakh, as the Haryana government has sought the citizens' suggestions on the same ahead of the budget session next month, an official release said today.
"Haryana government has sought suggestions from citizens for posting some doable and innovative ideas to raise state revenue for State Budget 2018-19," state Finance Minister Abhimanyu said in a release.
The suggestions can be posted on the government's website upto February 25, he said.

"A detailed user manual was also available on department's website on how to register and post a suggestion. A best suggestion may receive an award of Rs one lakh," official release said.
Haryana government had projected revenue deficit of Rs 11,124.96 cr for 2017-18 as against Rs 12,221.68 cr (revised estimates) of 2016-17.
The state government had projected revenue receipts of Rs 68,810.88 cr for the current fiscal, up from Rs 60,327.09 cr (RE) during 2016-17.
