Haryana govt suspends 5 revenue officials

Haryana government has suspended five officials of the revenue department, including an Assistant Consolidation Officer (ACO) in connection with various irregularities in registering a mutation in Gurgaon district some time back, an official said today.

Besides the Assistant Consolidation Officer, two Patwaris and two Kanoongos have also been suspended "with immediate effect for committing various irregularities registering the mutation of Mouja Rozka Gurjjar in district Gurgaon", he said here.

The official said a departmental inquiry has also been ordered to look into the entire issue.

Dalbir Singh, who is among the five suspended officials, had sanctioned the mutation of the controversial land deal between Robert Vadra's Skylight Hospitality and DLF Universal Limited in Gurgaon's Shikhoabad village, the official said.
 

He said that those who have been suspended, included ACO Dalbir Singh, Patwaris Parveen Kumar and Patwari Mohamed Husain, Kanoongo Ram Kumar (presently posted as Assistant consolidation officer, Jhajjar) and Kanoongo Darshan Kumar.
