Haryana govt to improve water supply in 15 towns

Haryana government will augment water supply and sewerage facilities in 15 additional towns of the state under Economic Stimulus Package Programme.

An official spokesman said the 15 towns include Farrukhnagar, Haily Mandi, Sohna, Pataudi and Ataily Mandi in Gurgaon district; Karnal, Gharaunda in Karnal; Rewari, Bawal and Dharuhera in Rewari district; Narnaund in Hisar; Ambala Cantt, Nuh in Mewat; Bahadurgarh in Jhajjar and Bawani Khera in Bhiwani.

Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has also directed to include 13 more towns in the programme.

These are: Naraingarh, Hisar, Nilokheri, Indri, Ladwa, Shahabad, Thanesar, Kalka, Panipat, Rohtak, Sonipat, Yamuna Nagar and Jagadhari.
 

The state government has approved a Rs 3.43 crore plan for shifting electricity lines in Bahadurgarh in Jhajjar under Rajiv Gandhi Urban Development Mission (RGUDM).
