Haryana govt to provide various concessions to J&K students

The BJP government in Haryana has decided to provide various concessions to students from Jammu and Kashmir for admission in colleges and universities in the state.

The concessions included relaxation in cut-off marks and minimum eligibility requirement, an official release said here today.

Other concessions included reservation of at least one seat in merit quota in technical and professional institutions and waiving domicile requirements.

The state will also set up a grievance redressal mechanism for such students in every institution.
