Haryana govt to re-employ teachers retiring mid-session

Haryana Government has decided to re-employ those teachers who are retiring in the middle of an academic session up to March 31 or till the recruitment of new teachers.

State education Minister Ram Bilas Sharma said a decision to this effect has been taken so that the studies of students are not hampered during the session, according to an official statement here today.

Sharma said a notification to this effect has been issued.

The retiring Principals, Head Masters, Masters, Head Teachers and JBT Teachers of Haryana School Education Department would be among those re-employed on need basis with one month advance approval.
 

The Education Minister said the cases of re-employment of Principal, Headmaster and Lecturer would be sent by the concerned District Education Officer to Director Secondary Education, who would decide each case at his level.

The cases of Masters and C and V Teachers would be sent by Heads of Institutions (Principal or Headmaster) to the concerned District Education Officer who would decide each case at his level under intimation to Director Elementary Education, the statement said.

In case of JBT Teacher or Head Teacher, the cases would be sent by the concerned Block Education Officers to the District Elementary Education Officer who would decide each case at his level under intimation to Director Elementary Education.

Sharma said Medical Fitness Certificate and Service Record of last three years would be considered for re-employment of retiring teachers.
